Drive electronics for robotics

The drive electronics for robotics are exposed to very high requirements, dynamics and control have to be considered equally. Copley's servo drives were developed specifically for the requirements in robotics.

The main features are:

  • low weight
  • short axial length
  • large throughbore (especially useful for cables that need to be routed through robot joints)

There are two models available:

Integrated Servo Drive: IEL-060-15

IEL-060-15 is a miniature dual-board servo drive designed for mounting on motors or in robotic joints. A large cutout in the center allows power, network, and other device cables to pass through.

    • Master Encoder (Gearing/Camming)
    • ±10 V Position/Velocity/Torque comman

    • 2 Digital high-speed input

    • 1 Digital general purpose output

NANO servo drive

The miniature servo drive from Copley offers peak current of up to 70ApK in the smallest installation space.
The powerful NANO drive is thus suitable for all applications where high current flow is required in the tightest of spaces.
The digital servo drive for brush and brushless Motors can be mounted either directly on the motor or in robot joints.
